While there are many things that I could say about Jose and all the wonderful people involved here, the one thing that I will say is that I am forever changed for having this experience. I learned so many things about business and weddings, but also about myself and who I want to be… where my place is and who I am in this wonderful (sometimes crazy) industry. Jose, Joel, Jill, Lacie, Mar, Brian, and James- thank you for being so wonderful and for having the spirit for teaching and for giving- God has truly given you a talent that you are using in ways that touches the lives of many. I am grateful and blessed to be able to call you all friends

She quickly scooped her up and decided to love her forever. :)

The vet says Mollie May is only about 6 weeks old, so she is getting bottle fed most of the time until she can start eating some solid puppy chow. Isn’t she adorable? I just love her to bits. I love how she hasn’t grown into her legs, so she is all gangly and awkward, but that is what makes her so cute. :)

We wanted to stretch ourselves creatively and in a fun, relaxed kind of way without the normal time constraints of a wedding day. We were thrilled with the results! :) We had two concepts for this shoot, an ultra romantic Southern Garden theme, and a Soho meets Southern Couture look. We were so fortunate to have teamed up with a talented list of vendors who each brought something unique and beautiful into this shoot, and we are so grateful to have such wonderful friends and peers who wanted to chip in! :)

I am so proud to announce that we are now members of the WPJA- Wedding Photojournalist Association!

The WPJA is a very prestigious guild of photojournalists from all over the world and we are so honored to have become a part of their membership! WPJA also regularly holds contests every quarter across several categories for photographers to submit their best wedding images for awards. We submitted some images this past quarter and unfortunately we didn’t place, but that is ok, because it was our first time submitting and the images from other photographers that did place was so well deserved, it really inspired us for future submissions! The image at the top of this post was one of the images from Heather + Tyler’s wedding that we submitted to the “kids” category. :)

We are so excited to see what the future has in store for us from WPJA, but for now we are listed as serving both Florida and Georgia for 2010-2011!
