Every now and then, I will have a session that just blows my mind and gives me the warm fuzzies. Working with Kristin + Joel was just that- even though we are getting ready to move into the autumn months, it warms me all up inside when I look at these images. Almost every single image made me catch my breath… Kristin, you are truly breath taking. I can’t wait to work with you again.

Wished we could have celebrated in Baton Rouge with you!

In mid June, I had the opportunity to spend some time with the Latham family while they visited Seaside, Florida, for their annual family vacation. I spent the entire week with them, documenting their family and friends who made the trip down for Benson’s 40th birthday party in Watercolor, and then another celebration at the Great Southern Cafe in Seaside. But what I loved most was getting to photograph the family together on the beaches, and here are a few of my favorites.

Joanna, thank you for inviting me along, I had so much fun and I can’t wait to make this a yearly event! :)

I don’t think kids get much cuter than this bunch. :)

Baby Ella

It’s such a wonderful experience when clients and friends of ours have children!
Michael + I have been very close with Heather + Tyler since their wedding back in 2009, and I was so thrilled when Heather texted me the news that she was in labor while we were on vacation in California. I couldn’t wait to get home and photograph this beautiful and sweet little girl. She is absolutely precious and SO TINY! Ella made her debut a little early, weighing in just under 6 pounds.
Here’s a little bit of sweetness for your day… :)

Oh that little face… this pretty much sums up how Ella was feeling about being photographed at this moment. :)

Ella’s room is just {beautiful}. So peaceful. I adored it.

Lacey + Zoe, Heather + Tyler’s fur babies, do not like when Ella is in the crib. They are very protective of their baby sister. :)
