“Nerdy pharmacists in love.” :)
The first time I spoke with Amelia was way back in 2009, when she was just beginning to plan her wedding. She told me all about the amazing details and how wonderfully elegant she wanted her wedding to be. We decided to meet Jeremy + Amelia in Jacksonville for their engagement session so we could shoot at the beautiful Cummer Museum and envision what she had planned for their wedding. I had no idea what I was in for when we arrived, and nothing could prepare me for the absolute beauty of the Cummer. Sprawling gardens, secluded nooks and crannies, beautiful sculptures and amazing art exhibits. We immediately fell in love with the museum, and with Jeremy + Amelia.
On the wedding day, we couldn’t wait to get back to Jacksonville to shoot, but when we arrived, a thunderstorm of epic proportions was rolling in. Michael and I were worried the storm would not pass in time for the garden affair, and it rained right up until about 15 minutes prior to the ceremony. The warm sun ducked behind the old oak tree and peeked through the branches just as Amelia walked down the aisle to the fitting “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles.
We love a good wedding story, and this is one we will be telling for awhile. :)

Aime Peterson Event Design was responsible for all the beautiful details. We can’t wait to work with Aime again, she has an amazing design aesthetic!
