As a photographer, I’ve often wondered why my work should cease with the cake cutting, when the first few weeks of wedded bliss are an untapped resource of sincere magic. The euphoria of a fine celebration is at the forefront of a couple’s thoughts, soon followed by a tenderness and togetherness that surfaces as the nuptial high subsides. In the wake of a wedding crescendo that involved so many others is a chance to simply be— and in doing so— begin to discover harmony in  life as husband and wife.
